People are a companies greatest asset.  Hiring the right people is critical to your business’ success.  Do you believe that? Getting below the surface is a critical skill for all  involved in hiring.  One wrong person can kill years of work to create a solid business.

Getting at the heart of what a candidate has done is what is needed to make an intelligent hiring decision. This course teaches how to develop interview guides and do a behavioral interview. This is Development Dimension International (DDI) course – Targeted Job Selection.

 Business Place Diversity

Business Place Diversity  is about keeping and developing employees by improving communication and cultural understanding in today's diverse workplace. This highly interactive seminar, delivered in full-day or half-day versions, provides a combination of awareness and skills building. The techniques learned can be applied immediately for improved co-worker and customer interactions.

Participants gain an understanding of the business imperatives of inclusiveness, and the differences that can arise due to the various ways that we are different. They learn to identify their own cultural filters; minimize assumptions and/or stereotypes; stay neutral in challenging situations; and adapt their behavior to create more positive work relationships.
The most important thing about a person is not their ethnicity, race or culture but their character. There is a lot of crazy stuff out there that is passed off as Diversity training.  For any business it makes great sense to teach about cultural and gender differences and the implications for business.

This is no group hug session but many sound learning activities about our diversity in a business setting and how to make it an asset .  Working with our diversity is what  gives us an edge. Not having the knowledge and tools to work with each other's uniqueness is what causes us to disintegrate.
